| Exterior restoration of the Joseph Webb House (1752) and the Silas Deane House (1770) at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum in Wethersfield. Both buildings were stripped of lead paint down to bare wood and the clapboards and trim were carefully restored. Wood features were repaired in place and where replacement of clapboards was necessary, they were scarf jointed and fastened with rose headed nails. New paint was selected based on historic color research. | Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum | Wethersfield, CT![]() |
