Restoration of the historic Welles School
(ca. 1893) for adaptive use as a museum and
cultural center. Exterior and interior historic
features were repaired and restored and a new
passenger elevatorwas installed but is not visible
from the exterior. Interior spaces were converted to
newuses with minimal loss of original historic fabric.
